Movie Recommendations

This user-contributed list of movies is compiled based on its value (both artistic and thematic) to Objectivists. Such a recommendation does not mean you'll like the movie (you might even hate it), but it is a shortlist from which you might be able to make a shortlist of your own.

How to contribute to the list: The method for ordering movies has changed, so read carefully: Each Wiki user gets a single vote for every movie he likes or dislikes. Movies are grouped into two sections: good movies and bad movies. To vote on a movie, add 1-5 asterisks after the movies name, or the last vote, followed by a space. (At some later point, the votes may be processed for a more Amazon-like interface.)

Note: website administrators and moderators have the power to override any vote by making a particular vote bold, thus keeping it in a particular category regardless of the average vote. You can still add your vote, but it will not affect the movie's position.

Please check for or start a discussion on the forum and create a link to it from this list.

The initial order of this list will reflect the ordering of the prior system and the initial ranking given to each movie. As you rank movies, move up-higher ranked movies.
